Now I see the light.

I am not a girly girl. I am the boy daughter, and my sister is the girl daughter (not physically, just in a matter of speaking. I have tried, especially in my 20's, to break my mold.

I have curly hair, which some girls would love, I straighten it all the time.
I own 2 skirts, one of which is denim.
I don't own ballet flats.
I don't own heels.
I just bought my first pair of lulu's.
I don't do pedicures, or manicures.
I won one purse....and I want another one.

Not just any this one, THIS this one,

Her name is re-run. So cute! Matt & Nats black nylon with dark brown stitching and & 'vintage' vegan leather trims, antique silver hardware and screw rivets, plaid lining, and main compartment with 2 zippers for access. Also features interior cell phone and pda pockets, and detachable key chain. Reusable protective pouch included.

I need that bag. I have one from Old Navy that I got from a friend for Christmas, but Grey needs a friend. Yes, I name things.

Here is me with the curlies,

ooops, I seem to have deleted the pictures. That's ok, here are some ups pictures (the best way that my curly hair should be worn).

Enough about me, how was your day?

hangin out at home, for Michael

This is what I do and I'm not pushing it.

I sell skin care. I'm not a crazy in-your-face pushy annoying Avon Lady. I talk about it ONLY if people bring it up. I have had spa parties, but only 2 in the past year, it's just not my thing. This is the company. Men have asked me about it too.

I love the stuff because I was an ugly ugly (seriously) looking woman from the ages of 14 - 27. I tried everything and finaly stumbled accross this. I like it.

I had better stop before this turns into an infomercial.

The point of this post...let's see, oh yes! One of my male friends (just about the only one that isn't causing me stress and drama) is coming over tonight and we are going to have a mini spa, and I'm quite excited!

He just text me and cancelled. boo-urns.

I had a migraine last night, this morning and early afternoon. I honestly don't know how I made it home from work. I slept until this afternoon and then went to the gym. My dr. told me a couple of months ago to exercise more, and that it would be good for my migraines. It feels pretty weird when I do that, but I did it this afternoon and things are pretty ok now.

hey, hey baby

I used to sing that hey babe song (the one from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack) to one of my students.

But enough sentimental recolections, ANOTHER BABY WAS BORN!

My friend and co-worker (the same people) had a baby girl on Saturday (that makes the score

-close friends wife - boy
-extended family member - boy
-cousins wife - girl
-family friend. - boy
-neighbours wife - boy
-cousin - girl
-co-worker (s) - boy
-co-worker (s) - girl
-co-workers wife (s)

-friend's fiance
*new*
-co-worker (s)
-co-workers wife (s)
-co-worker (h)
-good friend

5 - 3 for the boys.

The new baby girl is so cute and tiny.

all at once: "Aaaawwwwwww..."

squee squee! No baby's for me!

:)

Working on the night train.

Tonight, I am working 12 hrs in lockdown. I'm SO excited!
Seriously, that was not meant to be sarcastic.
I love working at the Hospital,
the ward I work on is amazing.
The staff is great, the patients are interesting, experiences are very rewarding.
Which would be the reason why I am interested in becoming a Psychiatric Nurse.
Then, I can go from this,

to this,

and this

and somedays this,

and maybe even this,

OH LA LA!

Shout out (what are we still in the '90's Keri?) to my cousin Scott. Who is a really great, decent gentleman. He gave me some sweet thaks today. He knows me well, I like the sugar coated thanks jube jubes, rather than the plain ones.

My funny valentine

My Valentines this year was good. Valentines from the classes that I work in. Some of them even made Valentines for my Mom, who came to out class a couple of weeks ago and cooked for them. One of my students told me that he loved me. It was pretty cute.

My shirt.

My stash.

My personalized Valentines card.

Yess!!!

This man is the greatest! He was my high school principal, allowed me to graduate even though I didn't have enough credits. Then, when I became employed with the school board, he put me on the sub list, even though Kelsey had screwed up my marks. He still remembers me when he comes around to the school.

Rathwell named new public school board director
TheStarPhoenix.com
Published: Thursday, February 14, 2008

George Rathwell, a familiar face in the city's school system, has been named new director of the Saskatoon public school board, effective Aug. 1.

"We are extremely pleased that Mr. Rathwell put his name forward and that he has been chosen," said board chairperson Ray Morrison in a press release.

"We know the leadership of the organization will now pass from one very capable leader to another."

Dr. Jim Jutras, the current Director of Education, retires from his duties as Director effective July 31, 2008.

For the past four years, Rathwell has served as one of two Deputy Directors of Education.

"The Saskatoon Board of Education has established two learning priorities within its strategic plan. Our 'Literacy for Life' and 'Collegiate Renewal' priorities are proving to be an excellent focus for student learning and staff development," said Rathwell.

"We intend to continue these learning priorities and learning agenda for the educational benefit of our students and staff."

Rathwell has 26 years of experience in the Saskatoon public school system, serving as a collegiate teacher, vice-principal, principal, superintendent and deputy director. He also taught for two years in rural Saskatchewan and acted as a provincial educational consultant for one year.

Just Married

Don't you love crazy people???

Diff'rent Strokes alum Gary Coleman has married some loser by the name of Shannon Price.

He's 40. She's 22.

It gets better!

The pair have only known each other just over FIVE MONTHS.

And it gets even better still!!!!

Gary tells Inside Edition that this is his first-time-ever romantic relationship.

"I never got the opportunity to be romantic or feel romantic with anyone," he says. "I wasn't saving myself, she just happened to be the one."

Bless his little, sex-deprived heart!

The couple's nuptials happened, "on a mountaintop," according to Coleman. "Nobody was around but the minister, preacher, the videographers, the photographer, the helicopter pilot and us. That was all that was there. There was nobody else.”

As for the 18 years between them, "I don't have issues with age, I have issues with intelligence," says Coleman. "She's more intelligent than I am, and that's what matters to me."

Price handles the sale of Coleman's memorabilia on e-Bay, and says that when she met him on the set of the movie Church Ball she wasn't aware of his fame.

"I didn't grow up with Diff'rent Strokes," she tells Inside Edition. "I actually didn't like watching TV when I was younger."

We expect them to be divorced within three months.

Why????

"We may go a week and not speak to each other," he says, while she claims, "He lets his anger conquer him sometimes. … He throws things around, and sometimes he throws it in my direction."

She adds, "I don't like the violence."

This is a reality TV show waiting to happen!

Yay for the Day!

RUEHL No. 925 finally has online shopping.

SQUUEEEEE!!

Back with new babies

I am back, from everything. Back from the Hospital seeing babies, back from not having a computer and back from Edmonton. I have added 2 babies to my collection since I last talked to you. My cousin had a baby girl on Wednesday,

Mattea Leigh Anne.

My co-worker had a baby boy, Nicholas Emerson Frank, on Friday. I REALLY like the name Emerson.

So now here's the score card.

-close friends wife - boy
-extended family member - boy
-cousins wife - girl
-family friend. - boy
-neighbours wife - boy
-cousin - girl
-co-worker (s) - boy
-co-workers wife (s)
-co-worker (s)
-friend's fiance
*new*
-co-worker (s)
-co-workers wife (s)
-co-worker (h)
-good friend

Like I said before, at lest none of these say, me....that would be some trouble.

My brother and his friend fixed my computer while I was gone and fixed it again when I thought something very minor was something very major. It good though, becasue out of it, they got food and free stuff, and I got 2 sales for the skin care line that I sell. They are going to each buy one of these sets

so it turned out good for all of us.

Edmonton was great, I GOT TO SEE MY BOYS! Highlight of my trip, and probably year. Unless something amazingly spectacular happens this year, nothing will top the time I spent with them. I used to work with their Dad at Shoppers and we have still kept in touch. It was great to visit with him and his wife, and to play with their boys.

"Boys, did you know that I'm a Teacher?"

Look of disbelief. "No you're not!"

"Oh, ok. What do you think I do?"

"You work with Daddy."

lol

Here's a picture of me and the youngest.

Yes, I close my eyes on almost every flash picture that is taken of me. And yes, I am wearing my brand new Abercrombie Hoodie that I bought in Edmonton in both pictures.
I love that store.

Have a good one!

At least I can see across the street

This week has been a pretty cold one in Saskatoon. Sunday night, it snowed and I thought that for sure we would be gettting the 2008 version of the Blizzard of 2007. I didn't go out on Monday, becasue it was -50. Tuesday and Wednesday we had about 60 students show up. It doesn't make sense that there needs to be blowing snow, but not cold temperatures, for the school board to close schools.

On the upside, I was doing research with some of my students today Antarctica, and the it in between -125 and -250 there.

Now I don't feel so bad.

Wednesday, January 30, 2008

I'm sorry, it's been a long time

My life has been super busy. My car has gotten sick (poor Belle). I am dealing with stuff with boys, work, this trip to Edmonton. I have also started selling
Beauti Control and I love them!

If you would like anything, you can let me know.

Oh! and baby news,

My neighbours wife had a baby boy,
Brody William.

Baby #5!

:)

Have a great weekend!

I just came accross this

I'm good with David Backham being Prince Charming, but J-Lo and hubby as Aladin and Jasmine? Not so much. Whoppi as Genie. Please stop while you're ahead.

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about.

Less than a week until our trip to Edmonton,
I am So pumped.
I FINALLY get to see the boys!
So exciting!!!

clothes ruehl

I used to be big into American Eagle clothes. Then, my sister introduced me to Old Navy. I like their clothes, really comfy, reasonably priced, and I fit a size smaller. Then, a heard about Abercrombie & Fitch, which I have just started buying some clothes from (for about the past year). They're really great. Sexy, comfy and they smell like sex. Unfortunetly, the only store is in Edmonton, which I only visit once a year. I was going to post a picture of me in a pair of their jeans, in which I look hot, but I deleted it becasue I was with the ex in it.

First I saw this,
Abercrombie & Fitch

Then I read up on this,
Other Abercrombie & Fitch Co. brands

so I went here

and read about this online shopping stuff

and now, I want Ryah in Chocolate

Adore adore, it's baby #4 and Meredith Grey is the reason neither of us are in a relationship.

Baby #4 had been born. His name is Lucas, and, for those that remember this
there are a few more people that can be added onto it. Here is the new list,

-close friends wife - boy
-extended family member - boy
-cousins wife - girl
-family friend. - boy
-co-worker (s)
-neighbours wife
-cousin
-co-workers wife (s)
-co-worker (s)
-friend's fiance
*new*
-co-worker (s)
-co-workers wife (s)
-co-worker (h)
-good friend

at lest none of these say, me....that would be some trouble.

Last night, I watched Grey's Anatomy (you have to push play) . What a sweet episode. I always like reading Ali's review of the show, but she hasn't talked about it yet.

I liked that something huge is happening to Beily. I like that George and Lexi may be roomates. I really love McSteamy. And I love that this was the last show in I don't know how long, because it would be a crappy season ender.

nobody said it was easy

I'm 29.
I will be 30 in July. I have different opinions about this.
It is just a number, but a weird number.
It feels weird to say "I'm going to be 30.", like some sort of new skin should come over me.
Even now, things have a different angle to them.
This doesn't really matter to me, becasue it's not a race,
but I know, let me count..
14 people between November 07 and August 08 having babies.
It just seems like a lot.
I have even started using skin creams and things like that,
I never did that in my 20's.
I have 2 long term goals (or as I like to say "by 40")
one is to become and RPN and the other is to buy a house.
I think that these are easily attainable goals.
I think that I am going to go to the lake on the 10th,
and stay there for a couple of days.
30 just sounds so much more grown up,
like you can't blame anything on your 20's anymore.
Relationships are messed up at this age,
they use up a lot of your heart energy.

Friday, January 4, 2008

I went into work today and I wasn't even scheduled.

silly me.

but...
I sure do work at 7:30 tomorrow morning and I'm up past midnight.
I have decieded that I am going to quit going to the gym that I have been a member at for the past year. I am going to switch to a better one. It's closer to home, cheaper, and offers excellent classes (like Hot Yoga).

I downloaded a WHOLE bunch of wonderful classical music tonight, except the one that I was looking for. It is the one that is always played in the background of movies whenever there is a wedding/fancy scene.

na na na na na na na
na
na na na na

like that was lots of help.

I think Beethovan composed it.

Good Night.

No resolutions, just words

Discipline.
Change.
Love.

They can all be used in all parts of my life.

Christmas changes

This is the only time in the next 5 days that I will be able to sit, peacefully in front of the computer with a warm mug of Green Tea (a Christmas gift from the Teacher that I work with - I also got Tickelberries and a Starbucks gift certicicate). I really SHOULD be in bed, becasue I have to be up at 5 for work, but I'll sleep sometime next week.

This morning I experienced the true stress of Christmas. I slept in, which sucked becasue I was going to go to work early and get a scavenger hunt set up. I hadn't gotten ANY Christmas presents for my co-workers (except 1, which I got at Superstore at 2 in the morning, thus, the reason I slept in. Went to get a couple gifts, with no one in line but debit card at home. Came back with debit card, 9 people in line. Thus, I was about 10 minutes late for school. I thik that I am going to give the rest of the staff their presents after Christmas. Because, who doesn't like getting gifts for no reason at all?

Today was the last day of school before Christmas holidays. It was great because everyone was in the Christmas spirit and everyone was having a good time. I also got a haul of gifts, which I wasn't expecting. Lots of Chocolate, candles, ornaments, gift certificates, coffee and teas. I love it.

A sad thing about today was that today was our interns last day. She is an awesome teacher and really good with the kids. I will miss her dearly. Last night I was in Superstore and started thinking about her, and I started a little cry. Then I got better becasue I remembered that she is going to be back every Tuesday.

It is going to be nice to have a break from school. I am booked to work for the next 5 days at my other job, but I am not complaining one bit.

Next post, pictures of pre-Christmas 2007.

4 more gifts to buy.

My friend Gym

I belong to a gym. I have for about a year. Before that I just used the Hospitals gym. Which was ok, but it was small. I love the gym. The thing is, it is so far away and every time I go, I forget something. About a month ago, I was at a fundraiser and got to talking to a lady from the gym that offers the Strippercise class that I had registered for in October (it was cancelled becasue of lack of interest). It has a cheaper rate, and it's a bit closer to my place. I definetly need to start going to the gym more. They also have Hot Yoga at this new gym.

Ya, I think I'll go for it.

EA appreciation day.

Today was EA appreciation day at our school (well, kind of...and about dam time).

at 9:55, all of the EA'S were sent into the staff room for treats and an extra long break (while the Teachers took the students to sing-a-long, which the EA'S usually do).
The Teacher that I work with had all of the students say Thank you to me and blow kisses to me. I just about cried.

It was very nice.
A very great day.

Until my car ran out of gas on 22nd,
and I locked my keys in my car at the same time.

But EA appreciation day!!!

Wednesday, December 12, 2007

Yesterday, I worked at the school for 7 hrs.
Last night, I worked 12 hrs at the Hospital overnight.
I was back at school this morning and stayed longer becasue we had some evening Christmas celebrations
I also had to work another 12 hrs today,
but the greatest thing happened.
I went to work and they had double booked the shift,
woohoo!

I'm going to sleeep forever now.

Turbo Christmas Bitches

5-6 years ago, my brother, sister and I gave a portrait of ourselves to our parents for Christmas. 5-6 years is a long time. My sister suggested that we give them a new one this year. So, last night, we met at my sisters place and took a bunch of pictures. Some with my sisters husband, and some without. It was quite cute becasue my sister and I were wearing the same long sleeved black shirt from Old Navy. We must have taken about 10 shots. It was fun, becasue Elf was playing on the TV, so we had reason behind our big smiles.

so funny.

When all was said and done, my brother left and I stayed to watch some more of the movie. My sister was looking through the pictures on her camera, and she couldn't find the ones that she had just taken. They were gone. Somehow they had been deleted.

Hopefully they show Elf again next Sunday.

My sister and I are Christmas Bitches. She proclaimed this last year and her husband called us Turbo Christmas this year. Thus, we are Christmas bitches. Her with her trips to Costco, her baking and her amazing annual Christmas party. And me with my baking and over decorated apartment and general more add than usual. This year I had my cards (well, the ones that just get a picture of me in them) out on the 1st, but that's as far as it goes. This week, however, is going to change. Wednesday, we are having a Winter Festival at school, Thursday I am having people that I work with over, Friday is our system get together as well as out staff party. Friday night I will be either working or Christmas shopping. I have not been procrastinating, I have just been working my tail off.I am also going to be Christmas shopping on Saturday. I have a game plan made and hopefully I will get this all done this weekend.

Probably not though.

not a lot to say

Grey's Anatomy. I watch the news (Ch 9, my whole life) and Grey's Anatomy. That's all. On Thursday, Grey's struck a nerve, but I guess that's what its supposed to do.

I love George.

4 episodes ago Derek was telling Meredith that he wants to marry her and now he's kind of letting her walk away after she shares a feeling with him.

I have been looking for these ornaments for the longest time. I have 4 on my tree from my parents. I love the vintage ornaments. Not the new ones that look like vintage ones. Has anyone seen any anywhere?

I recieved a sweet phone call on Thursday night. He misses me too, and can't wait until we can have a day off together. :) sweet.

giving hump day another meaning

I have to work tonight. As in 11:30 at night to 7:30 in the morning. And then going to my other job to work. That's ok though, I'll sleep tommorow night, after Grey's. I don't do shifts like this very often, but I love them when I do. This shift is like a hump, if I can get over it (which I do with all the *necessities), the 6 hr. day at my other job is no problem. I was booked the first 5 days of Christmas holidays, which is fine with me.
*necessities are lots of reading material, coffee, my iPod, crunchy food and Christmas organizing.

I'm going to sleep now.

Monday, December 3, 2007

so I got a new brush and other seasonal favorites

I have had my brush FOREVER. It is a nice, simple Goody cushion paddle brush. It was good to my hair, but I thought that it was time for a change. Saturday night , when I was at work, I saw an advertisement in Cosmo for the new Goody line of brushes. So after work I went to Shoppers and looked over the line. I was torn between the Volume adding brush, the shine adding brush and the straightening adding brush. I should add now, that, while physically I am a girl, I am not girl enough to stray far from my comfort zone of products. I chose the straitening one. I went from this,

to this

It's the brush of death. I have been using it a couple of times tonight, just so that my hair can get used to it. Not so much. I don't know if thise ever happened to you, but when I have a itch on my back, I used to ask my Dad to smack it where it itched, and sure, it would sting for a bit, but the itch would be gone. That's like my head and the brush of death.

Tommorow is my works Christmas lunch. Turkey, stuffing, everything. It's catered by our bussiness associates. It really greats me in the mood for the season.

Question time. Christmas is coming, and I want to get him something warm and cozy to wear. He likes names like Helly Hansen, Hugo Boss, Kenneth Cole, Hugo Boss and Roots. I thought that I would tell you what brands he likes, becasue I am look for a REALLY warm Bunnyhug for him. Suggestions would be really appreciated.

Here is my Christmas Tree,

Have a good sleep, whenever you do!

T'is the season

I just finished working A LOT at both of my jobs. I should have slept all day, but I didn't. I did laundrey. Now I am going to tidy up my apartment and try to warm up (It's the coldest that it has ever been in here). I just thought that I'd better say "Hi", or my ratings will go down and I'll be cancelled. Nothing really exciting has been happeneing, I'm getting a bit on top of things (and it is ever good to be on top). I missed Grey's on Thuirsday because I was at a meeting for the RPN program that is being offered in Saskatoon in the fall, which I am SO excited about. Now is the time of year where the choice needs to be made as to how much will work out weigh Christmas parties and which Christmas parties will they outweigh. HHhhmmmmm....

Have a great week!

Tuesday, November 27, 2007

Hi There

I honestly have not been keeping anything from you. I have basically been sleeping and working for the past week, it will continue on until Sunday (so far).

Now I am going to go sleep, and then work.

We've got that Rider Pride!

Today was Rider Pride day at school. The kids wore Green and we made construction
paper halo hats and painted their faces. They all had green S's on each cheek. It looked so cute! And, of course, it was THE day that I forgot my camera at school. I had S's put on my cheeks after all of the students were done. When my face was done, one of my students looked at my and said,

"You looked like you were hit by an S Truck."

So great.

:) I love him.

I didn't have any Rider gear, but I had I wore this layering of clothes,

Baby #3 was really baby #1

As I will probably be talking about a whole lot in the next couple of months, I know 15 people who are going to have babies all before the end of February. One of my extended relatives had a baby boy on the 11th, and my cousins wife had a girl yesterday. Today when I got home from work, I had mail!! My friend and his wife had their baby in October, a beautiful baby boy! Yet another reason for me to look forward to our annual trip to Edmonton!!!

I'm so happy for them!

Monday night, hopefully curse free

I sent this e-mail out, and have also advertised it at both works. No one has replied.

Hi,
I was wondering if you have any plans for the evening of Monday, November19th. I was wondering because I am having a Spa Party (the web site is http://www.beauticontrol.com/) in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend their products. Please don't feel that you have to come and buy something, there is absolutely no pressure. It should be a evening of fun, food. some freebies and friends! It starts at 7 and goes until 9.

I hope you can make it!

Keri

I also have a curse. I can invite 100 people to something and 2 might show up. Seriously, to everything I plan. I am only inviting family. It is so frustrating. I makes me feel like such a loser.

Music is good, but where would it be without videos

That was a conversation that a couple of us had at work tonight. It really got me thinking. I love videos, but not necessarily the song. Here are my list of top 15,

The sweetest video (and song) ever, in my opinion.

Very cool video. It's kind of timeless.

This video creeped the cookies out of me when I was little. Now it's just funny.

Greatest Christmas song ever. The video is super fun!

Julia Roberts and Dave Matthews.

This is why I LOVE Dean Martin.

This song is getting played at every part of my life.

This is just a funny video.

They're all so beautiful in this video. They all look like they're having so much fun with each other. I know all of the choreography to this song.

I think that Fergie is just great.

I love this video, so well done.

becasue you're mine...

sweet little number.

I hope the class I take is this fun!

Spice Up Your Life!

I love this!

random Friday

It is -2 today. Get out the long underwear.

I took the day off of work today, both works. I had a really bad (lights off and a blanket over my head) migraine last night. It started at about 10:00 in the evening. It planned itself well, because I was just about to go to bed anyway. I watched Grey's at my sisters last night and saw her new nephew. Grey's = very good. I think that I may have said this before, but I think that the reconciliation of the O'Malley's will take the rest of the season. It was a good, solid episode. I loved Baily and her school girl flirting. The nephew = So beautiful. I got to hold him, which I love. Now the shower of babies has begun. My cousins wife is due anyday, as is my friends wife.

I can hardly wait to see this,

Tonight I am going to a 'Ladies Night'. I am quite excited. One of the Nurses at the hospital invited me. It is at a fancy restaurant and it should be very fun! I have never been to one of these, so I am not sure what to expect. I really get along great with the Nurses that I work with at the Hospital, they are such wonderful people. Here begins the season of Christmas parties, which I love. I have 3 for the school, and I don't know how many, if any, for the Hospital, and then of course, my sisters annual Christmas party. So exciting!

This is a working weekend, which is fine because I love working. I don't think that I work too much. I love my jobs and they just happen to pay me well.

And here ends my add post.

not my baby news

So, as I have told you before, I know 13 pregnant women that are due between now and the end of February. An extended relative (my sisters siter-in-law, I don't know what that would make her to me) was due last Saturday, and my cousins wife is due today. I say WAS because she. still. hasn't. had. the. baby. Her water broke on Friday morning.I saw them when I was at work this weekend, poor girl.

Having babies actually scares me. I know that I work with children and I love children and I am good with them, but they all belong to other people. I think that it is better to become an Auntie first, because then you can practise. Then I could practise all I want, like I do with other things (like running, pervs.)

People always ask my, and assume, that my job at the Hospital is boring and/or super easy. Umm, no, it's very hard, and it's not for everyone. Last night, security was there all night, and the cops were there about 3 times, all in 12 hrs. I usually read a book during a 12 hr shift, I did during every shift I worked in the summer. On a super busy night (Friday) I only read the last 4 chapters of Peaceful Warrior
and last night I read all about Johnny Cash
They are both super good books, I highly recommend them. There is SO much more in Cash than Walk The Line could have ever touched on.

Well, I'm off to the gym. Have a great weekend!

I thought that I had to work tonight

I went into work early, and realized that I wasn't scheduled. So I stayed until the night relief came on, and then I left.

I am now watching Grey's (where I think they should add some Sitters {Client Attendants} to the staff)and drinking Red wine that I got from a friend last weekend.
I just have to say that Gizzie is so awkward It's from Australia and dated 2002, so I think that it should be good. The thing is, I've lost my drinking "touch".I used to drink like any other young person, go to the bar, beers with my friends, etc. One night, it landed me in the Hospital and I could have died. After that, I quit completely, which brought down my tolerance level. Now, when I drink 2 glasses of wine or 1/2 a bottle of beer, I'm done for the night. I think I just need to drink it with someone, and know how to.

School was great today. We had a beautiful Remembrance Day ceremony, I cried. I'll be sleeping through Remembrance Day, becasue I work the night shift the night before, so I'll post this now,

This is such a beautiful song.

so many working titles

Monday.

It sure was. Monday is the day that I usually wake up late, and promise myself that I am going to come home and go to sleep right after work. It never happens. Monday at work is like every other day. Balancing the 4 different students that I work with. Today was really good, almost all of my students had pretty good days. I am trying to go without starting my day with a big coffee, that lasted until I got to work today.

My evenings vary, I have to work tonight, which is fine with me. I got a call today at work and my 2nd job scheduled me for quite a few shifts in the coming weeks. yay for Christmas money. My sweetheart is also working, so that's ok. Work is first priority for both of us, which is a great combination (better than the alternative).

My class that I was going to start tommorow was cancelled. Boo-urns.

I am having a Spa Party in a couple of weeks. So, in preparation for it, I have decieded to freeze my Halloween candy that I have left. That should be a hit with a room full (hopefully) of women. Hopefully my curse will be broken with this get together. I could invite everyone I know and no one would come I have a curse of this. If you are going to be in my neck of the woods and would like more information, just ask!

Last night, after my company had left, I decieded to decorate my apartment for Christmas. My Dad had brought a new tree over for me. I will post pictures when it is all done. It is mostly all done, but I don't have lights up.

and with that, I am off to my parents and then to work. Have a good one!

I wonder if McSteamy did his work

The best thing you can do is find someone that loves you for exactly what you are.

supp tommorow

I am having people over for dinner tommorow (family and a few family friends) and I have hit a wall with what to make them. I do cook very well (my skills have surprising sharpened over the past year), I just don't know what to make.
My Mom said to me,

Mom - "Just make your tortellini."

Me - "No, I make it all the time. I'm not a pasta girl."

Mom - "Well, whenever people come over to my house, they always expect to have perogies, and I'm not a perogie girl."

She IS Ukranian.

I'm sure I'll find something. I'm just putting too much pressure on myself.
