Private Practise was about me tonight

which kind of had to do with love....

I have the night off. The first night in forever. I could have worked, but I had a bit of a headache, so I said that I couldn't go in. Work was a little exhausting today. I did laundrey, and my friend just got off of work, so we might do something. I love my jobs.

Since I am blogging about my life, I thought that I would include this just to let people know how things are going,

I am super excited becasue in a couple of weeks, I am going to Edmonton to visit my friends and their 2 (3 by then!) adorable little boys. Shopping will be had as well, of course. I love them!

It is 8:00 in the evening and I haven't had supper yet. I have this love.hate relationship with food. I don't really hate food, but I can go without it for periods of time. Side note - eating pineapple makes women taste better. :) I just finished reading this article,

Halloween Survival: Don't Buy Your Candy Yet

3 hours 16 min ago by FitSugar

I did it. I couldn't resist. The bags of candy were two for $5.00, so I thought I'd stock up for Halloween early, you know, for the trick-or-treaters. Bad mistake. I've already opened one bag just to have one taste after dinner, and now they're in the pantry calling my name after every meal. It is a slippery slope.

Seriously ladies, do yourselves a huge favor. I know there are tons of bags of candy at the grocery store and just about everywhere you look are signs of Halloween, but don't fall for it. The candy is for the kids who come a-knockin at your door, so if you buy it and eat it all, your body will feel crappy from downing all that sugar and you'll feel bad that you have none to give away.

So take my advice. Learn from my mistake. Wait to buy your candy until a few days before Halloween. We all know that holidays are the toughest time to stick to our healthy eating plan, so don't start earlier than you need to.

It really makes me sad that I won't be able to give out Halloween candy this year. Nor did I last year. Children don't come to my building. I feel like making a huge sign that says "Buzz apt #... for candy." and hanging in my window.
