Our new dog

This is out new dog. His name is Zeus and he is a 3 month old Rough Collie/Husky cross. We adopted him from the SPCA in Saskatoon. We love him so much and are excited for the wonderful change that he will bring to our life.

is this the start of something

It's Saturday night, I came home from work early because I wasn't feeling very good, I have been sitting on my couch watching a couple of hrs of Sex and the City, and waiting for my symptoms to surface.

I love Josh Groban. His Ex, January Jones, is hosting Saturday Night Live. Wow she is horrible. Thank all things good that the Black Eyed Peas are the musical guest. and we will press the channel return button NOW.

I. Love. The. New. Melrose. Place.

The new Melrose Place makes me feel so good. Let me re track. I consider myself a late bloomer in the areas of stereotypical girlie loves. Shoes, fashion, make up, esthetics, and soaps. By Soaps I mean Melrose Place. I love watching it becasue it gives me such fulfillment of happiness and love for my boyfriend.

For example - Jonah found out that his fiance Riley kisses their neighbour Auggie, so he went for drinks with a record exec and kissed her.

My life - In the past month, my wonderful boyfriend has asked me to help him cook dinner "becasue he needs someone beautiful to stand there and watch", we have looked at a condo and discussed the future and tomorrow are going to the SPCA to look at dogs.

It probably doesn't make sense, but it's just one of those girl things.

A Beautiful Evening

Sunday is my friends birthday, so my three great friends and I got together to celebrate it. We call ourselves The Beautifuls. My boyfriend took some pictures of us for my Christmas gift to each of them. After that we went back to my place and had some fruit and then made Chicken stir fry for dinner. After dinner we went to a local book store and then for dessert. It was a simple evening, but a great one.

They mean so much to me.

I love them.

I took a sick day

so these aren't being done in one sitting.

I would take listening to the sound of traffic outside of my apartment window to listening to any song, any day. Ok, maybe not Josh Groban. The combination of the 2 is wonderful.

One thing that I would really like to do this by the end of 2009 year, is get my childrens book out and running to Publishers. Do I need illustrations when I mail it for the first time, because I don't know of any illustrators.

My blog was fixed.

I am starting to blog again. I kind of got out of the habbit becasue with e-mail, twitter, facebook and so on, I thought that everyone would know everything that was on my mind. No so. Enjoy!

I have a secret and I can't talk to anyone else...

I can't sleep. That's not the secret. Everyone knows I have trouble sleeping. Especially after last night. Here is how the mornings events were,

-1:45 - Wake up from a HORRIBLE dream. All shaken up and stuff.

-Probably 1:46 - Someone knocks on my door. I live in an apartment. I go outside to check and see what's up and no one is there. Creepy on all sorts of levels.

1:48 - 7:00 - Don't sleep.

7:01 - 7:30 - Fall asleep and wake up in a tizzy.

7:30 - 8:54 - Shower, get ready for work. Go to Tims for a coffee and a Bagel. The lady at the drive thru spills my coffee as she is giving it to me. The day continued on with the same type of awesomeness.

Blah, now I can't sleep.

I am going to tell you my goals, becasue I have no where else I can write them,

1 month from now - Have Jaz & Kim paid off
6 months from now - Have Wells Fargo paid off
1 year from now - Have Visa paid off and GMC paid off
18 months from now - Have a place with Scott.

Here is to a lot of dicipline.

10,000 jobs?

I have 4 jobs.

That is why I haven't blogged lately.

And this has my interest,

I love my new job.

I have a new (and 3rd) job of working in a care home for children with special needs. I was told that short term memory wasn't the biggest among the children. I was asked my name about 7 times today, it was so cute! I am back tomorrow. This is a job to help me in the summer.

I was wearing Lulu lemon pants there today, and one of the children came up to my pants and started picking and the logo on the side of the pants by the knee. I tried telling them that it was there becasue the people that made the pants put it there. Ten minutes later...

"You still have a sticker on your pants."

sense of calm... almost

Everything is going great. Valentines day was fabulous. We saw Benjamin Button and went for dinner. It was a great day, but Scott is very thoughtful and romantic all the time, so he didn't do anything that was really different from any other day.

It is such a great feeling when you are with someone that you actually want to see and be with and learn more and more about each day.

I worked a bit over the break and now I have a cold. I still haven't started at my 3rd job yet, I have to get a check done first before I start, which I am getting done tomorrow.
